Challenge to Change –
Our mission – to challenge the world to change our health behaviours.
Challenge to Change is brought upon us by the stark reality that in Australia, 1 in 3 people are considered overweight. What happened to our Australian, be active, sporting culture? It has been taken away by the over Americanisation of our fast food products, the constant push to work harder, and more hours and the lessening “need” to exercise.
I see plenty of fit and active people in the gym, and working hard. I love that so many people are in our business to be healthy, strong and fit and watching all of the transformations that occur is inspirational to me.
What I want to see more of are people who are too scared to exercise, who are overweight and have no idea of how to change that. You know how it might be done, good diet, some exercise, but you have no idea how to put that together so it is not entirely uncomfortable to do. Everyone thinks that you have to give up everything to lose weight, but I can challenge that completely by a client of mine who has now lost 17kg, and who still has a few drinks on a few nights of the week, drinks coffee, and also works about 90 hours a week. He is a busy man, but using a system has helped him tremendously.
Weight loss is a science. Applying the science to each person is where good coaching and mentoring mean a lot.
So, if you are reading this article, or you know someone who is reading this article who you know needs this challenge to change, then please contact me. I do not care if you have tried 100 times before and have not been successful. You just have not found the right method, or you have not had the right person supporting you.
Our system means that we can help you no matter where you are in the world. We use tele-health strategies to help you set goals, and to organise YOUR system of success based on the science and our experience. Your journey is your choice and we empower you to work around your barriers.
We are taking our next intake online on 19 October 2015. We actively encourage you to bring two friends, family members or colleagues along with you for the ride, as we know from our experience that a journey travelled together is a lot easier than travelling by yourself.
We are taking our next Face to Face Challenge to Change group in Rockhampton on the 12th October 2015.
