About me

Hi there, my name is Nhi’arla and I started here at Vector Health at the end of 2023. I am currently attending University at CQUniversity and as of 2025 will be in my 2nd year of study.

I was born here in Rockhampton but was raised over in Huddersfield, England for around 8 years of my life. From the age of 11 me and my family then moved to New Zealand, and I attended school for about a year and a half living in Wainuiomata. I’m so grateful for all the travelling I was able to do at a young age as it has exposed me to a wide variety of people, cultures, customs, and experiences. I grew up in footy locker rooms for my dad’s teams and have been exposed to the rugby league community ever since I can remember. My father played professional rugby league, and I was lucky enough to be able to see the behind the scenes training and lifestyle for a plethora of teams he has been involved with. All throughout my childhood sports has been one of the biggest consistencies in my life, meaning I’ve been up and active from day 1!

Throughout high school I loved to play whatever term sport was on as I like to try new things and to keep active with friends. Some of my definite favourites though were Rugby League, Oztag, AFL, and Basketball. After a basic ankle injury, I was first introduced to Vector Health and decided to come back for work placement during yr 12, which led to a job offer and I have been happily working here since.

Outside of working at Vector you’ll find me at the gym, going for runs, watching footy, or just sitting at home watching movies!
