About me
I’m a clinician with a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and the human body. From a young age, I was always active, participating in a wide range of sports such as cricket, tennis, AFL, rugby league, and touch football. This diverse athletic background laid the foundation for my love of staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. During high school, my interest in Biology, Physical Education, and sports led me to pursue a degree in Exercise Physiology at Queensland University of Technology. Although I wasn’t initially sure exactly what an Exercise Physiologist did, the combination of my interests in movement and the human body made it the perfect fit, and it quickly became something I’m truly passionate about.
As an Exercise Physiologist, my goal is to help people improve their health, fitness, and overall well-being through exercise, lifestyle changes, and education. I focus on empowering individuals to prioritize their health and stay active for as long as possible, enhancing their quality of life along the way.
For the past three years, I’ve worked at Vector Health, where I’ve had the privilege of helping clients with a wide range of conditions, including cardiorespiratory health, musculoskeletal injuries, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, mental health challenges, and injury rehabilitation through programs like NDIS and workers’ compensation. I have a particular interest in cardiorespiratory health, with experience in both cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation. I’m also passionate about supporting individuals returning to work or sport after an injury and have completed additional certification in return-to-work rehabilitation to deepen my understanding of workplace injuries and recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our fur baby, staying active through various sports and activities, and traveling to explore the world—a passion I look forward to continuing in the years ahead.
